If you’ve been playing the Woodfordia Triptych Competition on our Facebook page in the last few days you will likely have a new appreciation for each tiny detail of our beautiful triptych, which has represented the Woodford Folk Festival for the past three years. Last week we revealed the secret that each of the posters from 2013-2015 are part of the same incredible work. You can read about it here.
To celebrate this announcement and the beauty of the artwork itself, we released an exciting feature on our website, which allows audiences to explore the intricate work by zooming right in on the tiniest details and navigating around to explore the hundreds of quirky stories unfolding simultaneously. We just had to hold a competition around this!
We had countless keen entrants and six lucky winners – though this time ‘luck’ may have come in the form of dedication, persistence and a strong wifi connection! We want to extend a big congratulations to Kelly McCue, Henry Zarb, Nichole Robinson, Ruby Strauss, Lisa Strauss and Alex Burt for snatching up a double day and evening pass each, can’t wait to see you at the festival!
We also promised that we would be revealing a new competition to win a double season pass, so drum roll please……. Here it is!
HOW TO WIN A DOUBLE SEASON PASS TO WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL 2015/16
The above six images were the answers to each of the clues given on our Facebook page for the first component of the Triptych Competition. Incorporating all six screenshots, write a maximum 500 word story about the adventures, triumphs, mishaps and mayhems of the characters and elements in these images. There are no real boundaries, it does not need to be written to a particular theme, just a great opportunity to explore yourself through writing! We only ask that you keep it G-rated for all family audiences, so that we can publish the winning story on our blog.
You have until midnight AEST this Friday the 18th December to submit your story online via the link below.
Winners will be announced Monday the 21st December at 5pm AEST.
Good luck and happy writing! May the craftiest win.
